
May 2009. The All New 2009 Art of the Envelope Awards. After the enormous success of last year's Art of the Envelope Awards, it's time to start thinking envelope once again. | December 2003 Christmas Donation to Charity Candida supports several charities on an ongoing basis including Westpac Rescue Helicopter, the Newstalk ZB Special Childrens Party, and the Wellington and Christchurch Child Flight Trusts. As a New Zealand owned family business we take our community involvement seriously and so this year have chosen to donate to charity rather than giving Christmas gifts to customers. The Christmas charity we have chosen this year is "CanTeen". CanTeen's moto is "Supporting Young People Living With Cancer", they support young people aged 13 - 24 living with cancer, and their siblings. Their aim is to ensure that no young person in New Zealand should go through the cancer experience alone. | 17 November 2003 Design an Envelope Competition New Zealanders post more than one billion letters per year, and letters continue to be an important way of communicating. This year New Zealand Post has been running its “Better Letters” programme in schools for Years 4 – 6, to encourage written communication, including how to write, address and post them. Candida in conjunction with “Better Letters” ran a “Design an Envelope” competition including supplying the MaxPOP envelopes for each entry. There were over 20,000 entries received from school children throughout NZ and the Pacific. After the massive judging task a winner and two runners-up were found |

The President and Chairman of the EMA visited New Zealand recently. They were welcomed during a formal dinner and presentation by our Managing Director, Mr Paul Connolly. The event was attended by several industry leaders where the President of the EMA Mr Maynard Benjamin, and the Chairman Mr Brooks Bower presented an overview on the envelope and the future of mail.
